Why should I buy a new computer from you instead of PC World?
There are many reasons to buy a computer system from us rather than our large competitors. The main reason though is customer service. You just can't beat ours.
If your new computer developes a hard disk drive problem during its warranty then we'll save your important documents, photos and music files, install a new hard disk drive and then copy those files back free of charge. Most large retailers insist that you secure all your files first then bring the machine in for repair. The problem is that most of the time your files are inaccessible and you are therefore unable to backup your documents.
If you have a problem with your computer that requires a little telephone help then all you do is call us and we'll help. We don't charge extra for the occasional telephone support. What's more, you'll be talking to us here in Southampton, not a call centre in India or some other part of the world.
We are always happy to help our customers, if you need any help or advice with a technology query then you can call us and we'll advise you accordingly.
What about warranties?
All our machines are supplied with a one year, return to base warranty as standard. We won't try to sell you an extended warranty, or accidental damage insurance. Instead you can ask for a warranty extension when the first year warranty is due to expire and we'll be happy to provide an extended warranty.
Or, you can simply wait and if your computer developes a problem we'll fix it for our very modest fixed price fee of £50 + parts.
When you buy a new computer system from Southampton Computer Services you also get free home installation. You can then be 100% certain that your machine is correctly configured and ready to use.
We won't force you to buy Windows Vista. We will happily supply machines running Windows XP
What about choice?
We don't sell new pre-built computer systems, therefore your choices are infinite.
Tell us what the computer will be used for and we'll build a machine designed to suit those needs.
Whether it be internet and homework, photo editing or World of Warcraft. We can build a mchine that will fit those needs exactly.
Our systems are built to order and we use only the best components. Cheap computer systems from other retailers often use the very cheapest components and are not designed for reliability or to last.
